Companies tend to get comfortable in doing what they reckon they do best and stick to it. Innet Holdings does not intend to do that. We do not want to conform to the norm. We intend to strive exploring new innovative projects and execute new meaningful ideas; ideas that change things. The company is currently operating with two projects in hand; InnetSite and InnetPay.

Brief history of the company

Innet Holdings is a privately-owned company, which was founded in July 2016 by Silindile Ngwane (then 2nd year B Compt. student at Walter Sisulu University) and his lecturer, Senzo Ndlangamandla CA (SA), RA. Initially, the name of the company was Swypa (Pty) Ltd. At the time the company was embarking on a project called Swypa: a payment system to be used in the public transport industry such as taxis and buses. However, this idea later died. This was after an announcement on the news that Gauteng and KZN were piloting a cashless payment system in the taxi industry. The founders decided to move even broader; to build their own version of a payment system. And not just any payment system; a fingerprint payment system. They called it InnetPay. It is this revolutionary project (InnetPay) that led to the company name change, from Swypa (Pty) Ltd to Innet Holdings (Pty) Ltd, with a view in mind of building a conglomerate that will be a home to a number of world changing projects and ideas that are meaningful and worth developing.
